That's just so fucking cool I can hardly believe it. They make me think of all the steam tech from The Difference Engine.
It also makes me feel bad in the same way I feel when I read Make magazine. I'm not currently making radio-controlled steam tanks, or hacking my toaster, or what have you. Shit, I haven't even touched iron to solder since 1986.
Leads to some tough soul-searching on my part. Am I a DIY wannabe? Am I instead constrained by the necessities of having to earn a living? Is it 'cause I have a fiance?
I don't know the answers. But I do know that is one fucking cool steam tank.
